This section should provide useful information to help you prepare for your PSP visit. From advice about packing to photo galleries that allow you to preview the sights of the city, we’ve provided resources to make your travel easier and your extracurricular time in the country more satisfying. That includes downloadable resources, like our Prague Summer Program Orientation Booklet (.pdf), which will help you understand in-country basics like public transportation and obtaining copies of your manuscripts as well as the overall structure of the program. To get an even better sense of the day-to-day structure of the program, you may also consult the PSP 2017 schedule (concrete dates vary from year to year but the basic structure is the same.) We also offer a a What to Pack guide.
Whether you are already planning to join us or you’re just checking out the site to see what the city has to offer, make sure that you take your time to check out everything in this section. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to make sure you are fully prepared for the program. Prague is a beautiful city, and we want to make sure that every participant gets the most out of their experience. Part of that is making sure that we process all the necessary paperwork for the trip, though, which is why we provide instructions about our waiver requirements in the Preparation & Lodging area.
If you are looking for academic information, program costs, and application instructions, you can find those in the Program Info section of the site. That is also where you will find other basic information about Prague Summer Program faculty and staff, both past and present.
